How to take it, and when to judge it
The simple version
Two capsules a day, 20–30 minutes before a meal.
That's 1,000mg of myo-inositol and 25mg of D-chiro-inositol.
Why before a meal
You'll find "take it on an empty stomach" and "take it with food" argued in equal measure online, and nobody resolves it for you. Before a meal is the middle of those two, and it's what's on the bottle. If your stomach is sensitive, take it with food instead. That's fine.
If you want to take more
The research doses run higher than our label. If you want to run at 2,000mg a day, take two in the morning and two in the evening. A bottle then lasts fifteen days instead of thirty, so you'd want two a month.
We'd rather put that plainly on our own site than have you piece it together from a forum.
If it upsets your stomach
Halve it for a week, then build back up. Loose stools or bloating usually mean too much too fast, not that it's wrong for you. If it persists, stop and email us.
When to judge it
Give it three months. Many studies of inositol run for twelve weeks or longer, so that is the fairest window. Judging it at week four is judging it too early. The 90-day guarantee starts when your order ships.
Individual results may vary.
When not to take it
Talk to your doctor first if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or on medication, particularly anything for blood sugar. We're not going to make those calls for you.
